Maxine

Cyndi has owned Maxine, a 1986 Quarter Horse/Tennessee Walker cross since she was 4. In their younger days, they dabbled in everything—eventing, hunter/jumpers, barrel racing, pole bending, team penning... and, of course, dressage. Dressage eventually became their focus, and they moved up the levels together.

Cyndi earned her USDF bronze and silver medals on Maxine, who competed through Intermediaire I. Maxine has also served as Cyndi’s lesson horse, teaching beginners how to ride. She has also helped numerous riders acheive their USDF Bronze medals.

Maxine and Cyndi were profiled in the 2001 Dressage Issue of the Chronicle of the Horse.
